Hat Sizing

Infants are born with about 13-14 inch heads and then every child’s head grows at a different rate.  By age 1 the average head is 18 inches, but some may be 21 and others could be 17.  For your Wacky Warmer to be comfortable, choose the size that is at least a ½ inch larger than your child’s head.

Wacky Warmer Hat Sizes

Newborn – 15 inches  (13-14 ½ inch head)

Infant – 17 inches (15-16 ½ inch head)

Extra Small – 18 1/2 inches (17 – 18 inch head)

Small – 20 inches (18 ½-19 ½ inch head)

Medium – 22 inches (20-21 ½ inch head)

Large – 23 ½ inches (22-23 inch head)

Average head sizes

Newborn = 13-14”

3 –6 months = 14-17”

6 – 12 months = 16-19”

1-3 years = 18-20”

3-10 years = 19-21”

Pre-Teen – Teens = 20 ½-22”

Adult Female = 21 ½ -22 ½”

Adult Male = 22 -23”
